Get ready for the BSOP Millions 2023. The biggest poker tournament ever held in the southern hemisphere will take place again in the wonderful Golden Hall of the WTC Sheraton. And this time, it’s even bigger, bringing a record guaranteed prize pool that totals no less than R$40 million reais.
The BSOP Millions 2023 will take place in the city of São Paulo, between the 15th and 29th of November.
The BSOP returns to the luxurious WTC Sheraton, to accommodate the more than 170 poker tables that will host the one hundred tournaments over fifteen days of competitions.
The Tournament Calendar is full of news and modalities. Check out the schedule of events below and get ready to compete in the biggest poker championship Brazil has ever had.
Prizes: In general, approximately between 13 and 17% of the total number of players registered in a tournament are awarded prizes, unless a given modality has different prize rules. Therefore, it is only possible to know the number of winning players after registrations have closed. Satellite tournaments have a ratio of approximately one place for every 8 registrants.
Duration: Most tournaments are scheduled to last up to twelve hours per day, including breaks. “Turbo” type tournaments generally last less than that.
São Paulo is the financial and commercial center of Brazil. Latin America’s largest city has a reputation for “never sleeping”, as there are tons of options for things to see and do around the city and, as is known among Brazilians, the city has some of the best restaurants in the world. Compared by many as the Latin version of New York, there you will be able to have a lot of fun with many nightclubs, shopping malls and the taste of world cuisine in its restaurants.
São Paulo is the main hub for airlines in Brazil. Basically, every company that flies to the country has a flight to São Paulo. The largest airports in the US and most European capitals have direct flights to São Paulo. All international flights to São Paulo arrive at Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), which is located in Guarulhos, 20 km from São Paulo.
From the Airport to the Hotels there are several transport services in the city, but it is quicker to take a taxi. However, we strongly recommend that you prepay your taxi journey before leaving the terminal, as traffic in São Paulo can be complicated and the fare can be very expensive. The standard taxi ride from GRU to WTC Sheraton will take around 1h20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and will cost around R$180 ($35USD).
The WTC Sheraton São Paulo is one of the most luxurious hotels in São Paulo and is therefore often completely full due to business travelers. Therefore, we encourage players to book in advance, or you may have to take long taxi rides each day of the tournament.
The PokerStars satellite accommodation package includes fifteen nights’ accommodation for you and a guest in a standard room on the following dates only:

If you wish to extend your stay in São Paulo, you must be responsible for the costs of additional nights and must make this reservation directly with FlushTour. Keep in mind that hotels have a 100% penalty cancellation policy on reservations, meaning that even if you are unable to attend the hotel, there will be no refunds for unused nights.
